For A Limited Time Only? Sprint’s Unlimited Data Plan

According to a Bloomberg report, Sprint plans to offer the next iPhone with an unlimited data plan. This plan however, may only be a limited time offer. The iPhone will naturally bring a significant amount of traffic to the network and heavy data consumption with could lead to considerably strain on Spring. Most analysts predict that Sprint will offer unlimited data for a year or shorter before switching to a tiered pricing plan similar to AT&T or Verizon. Maribel Lopez, an analyst at Lopez Research explains the motivation behind this saying, “There’s a good chance they will use this to pull subscribers from AT&T and Verizon. After a certain time, they won’t offer the unlimited option any more.” Source: CNET
