SXSW ScreenBurn Arcade Expands!

November 1 2011, 4:10pm

Late last week, SXSW announced that their annual ScreenBurn Arcade conference will be moving from the Austin Convention Center into the Parmer Event Center. The Austin Convention Center is the home to many aspects of SXSW including the Exhibit Hall for the Interactive, Film, and Music festival, panel sessions, and the Flatstock poster exhibition. In addition to more parking spaces, the venue change will allow for Screen Burn to expand into a full fledge component of the SXSW festival. The larger space will allow for more room for games, contests, events, and exhibits. Past exhibiting and sponsors for ScreenBurn have included Alienware, IGN, Intel, and GameSalad. GameSalad (and a Stormtrooper) at SXSW ScreenBurn 2011 SXSW teases that: “SXSW ScreenBurn will be announcing a number of great events and presentations made possible by the move in the coming months.
