BAFTA Guru Launches to Inspire Game Industry Students
November 4 2011, 2:42pm
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has launched a new website initiative to inspire creative arts students with interests in film, television, and video game industries.
Named BAFTA Guru, the web resource includes editorials, interviews, lectures, and videos. The aim is to offer targeted content to inspire an 18-30 year old audience. The website will also allow students to interact directly with luminaries of the creative arts industries.
Tim Hunter, head of Learning and Events, explained, “BAFTA Guru is an exciting new development for the Academy.”
“It takes our Learning and Events programme to a wider audience and will allow the amazing roster of industry experts who we meet through our membership and Awards to support the next generation of practitioners.”
