Independent Games Festival deadlines in November

Want to bring some attention to your GameSalad games? Submit them to the Independent Games Festival! Web games can be entered into the IGF Main Competition, which boasts over $40,000 in prizes in a variety of categories, and requires an entry fee of $95. The submission deadline is November 1. IGF has confirmed that games running through the GameSalad web plug-in will be eligible. Just be sure to indicate the plug-in requirements on your submission form so the IGF judges can be prepared! Students can also consider the IGF Student Showcase Competition, which awards $500 travel stipends for ten games selected for the showcase, as well as a $2,500 prize for Best Student Game. The student competition is free to enter, and the deadline is November 15. Last but not least, iPhone games can be entered into the IGF Mobile Competition, which offers $5,000 in prizes and requires an entry fee of $50. The mobile submission deadline is December 1.
