Hey, everybody! Last Friday, GameSalad was featured on The Escapist website (home to the biting wit that is Zero Punctuation). In their weekly column Extra Credits, The Escapist looks into what it takes to be a game designer. In short, they sum up the role of game designer as being an expert in everything, especially life. Near the end of the video, they recommend GameSalad as the best tool for Mac in order to learn the art of game design. The video is a really great summation of the tools and expertise that should be developed if you want to have a career in game design. This is a great series and a great stand alone installment. In addition to being mentioned on The Escapist, GameSalad was also featured on Entrepreneur.com, in their article How to Build an iPhone App Without Hiring a Developer. It’s a wonderful read and does a good job exploring the options for app creation that keep coding to a minimum or eliminate it entirely.
