We’ve all been there before. Your online holiday shopping leads to all kinds of new stuff showing up in your inbox. Things like- Receipts.Coupons.Shipping notices.Newsletter requests. And stuff you did not realize was “opt out”.It’s no biggie though, your holiday can still be merry! With the latest improvements to Organizer, your online holiday shopping experience is easier, safer and even cheaper!Expanded classification tagging in Gmail and Google Apps-Just when you thought Organizer couldn’t get any smarter… it just goes right on ahead and does!Just like Shipping Notices, now Organizer knows to tag Coupons and Receipts in Gmail and Google Apps, helping them stand out in the crowd and making your online shopping easier and cheaper! Of course, your Daily Digest also highlights your Coupons and Shipping Notices in BOTH Gmail and Yahoo! Mail…. You’ll have a hard time missing a deal or a package again! TIP- Got a shipping notice? Click on “Add To Calendar” to have Organizer place the estimated arrival date right onto your Google, Yahoo! or iCal calendar. Uh, yeah… Awesome. The Unsubscribe Folder-Wow! Did you actually sign up for all these e-catalogs, newsletters and more? No? Then why are they clogging up your inbox? A common culprit is the “opt-out checkbox”. The scenario- You find that perfect gift and move through to the purchase screen. Some e-tailers will require you “uncheck” an opt-out box or field that signifies you do not want to receive special offers, newsletter, etc. TIP – An “opt out” scenario requires some action for exclusion. In this case, inclusion is the default setting. If you want that stuff, cool! Organizer will put it in its place and you can get it later in your “OIB/Shopping” folder, no problem. But maybe you don’t want the new correspondence. Now what? That’s where the OIB/Unsubscribe folder saves the day, making your online shopping experience safer. We wrote about the Unsubscribe Folder in October, we gave all existing Organizer users the ability to create an OIB/Unsubscribe folder right away. Well, the feature is sooo amazing and the feedback has been soooo great that we now offer it pre-installed on all new accounts in both Yahoo! Mail and Gmail! Nice. How does it work? The Unsubscribe folder allows you to simply place an email in a folder designated as “OIB/Unsubscribe” and Organizer takes it from there, ensuring the sender is notified that you wish to be removed from their email list. You can just forget about it!

In the background, we work to remove your email address from the list, usually stopping the emails within the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, resulting emails are kept out of your inbox and placed in the “OIB/Unsubscribe” folder. TIP- New users will find a pre-loaded email in their unsubscribe folder that tells them exactly how to use it!So go on, log in and shop till you drop! We got your back with the latest features to the amazing Organizer. We want to help ensure you can spend your hard earned dough easier, cheaper and safer.
