NODA visits OrgSync HQ

Last week, OrgSync hosted two team members from the National Orientation Directors’ Association (NODA) corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. Joyce Holl, Executive Director of NODA, has led an initiative to centralize the association’s membership database, members-only portal, and public website. OrgSync and NODA began their partnership in June 2010 as the membership database for the NODA Home Office. NODA kicked off the launch of OrgSync to its members with the NODAC 2010 annual conference registration. The association also launched the NODA members-only portal, where paid NODA members can log in to network with other orientation professionals across the country, complete necessary forms and registration, as well as view and share files and resources. In addition to providing the membership database and members-only portal, OrgSync also hosts NODA’s public website (http://nodaweb.org). Joyce and her student assistant, Leiha Bakey, who has been instrumental in getting OrgSync set up for NODA, met with OrgSync team members in the Dallas office to share feedback and strategize. The NODA representatives met with the Client Services team to learn more about the OrgSync features and how to more fully utilize the platform. They also were able to meet with the Sales Team to provide strategic vision about how OrgSync can be used for non-profit associations as well as orientation departments. The development team was able to hear directly from the NODA representatives their suggestions for future developments that will be helpful for the association. NODA has opened registration and calls for programs for the regional conferences this Spring, and all of the information can be found on the main NODA website. OrgSync is also excited to announce the new recently designed NODAC 2011 annual conference website, which will be held in New Orleans in October 2011 (www.nodac.org).
