Congratulations are in order for the Nexus Game Studio! Their game, Gravonaut, has been nominated for the Canadian Video Game Awards! Gravonaut is up for the following awards:
Best Game on the Go Best Downloadable Game Best Visual Arts
Gravonaut is up against some fierce competition. It shares space in the Best Visual Arts category with titles like Mass Effect 2 amd Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game! In Best Game On The Go, it’s up against long-standing favo(u)rite, Scrabble. With gameplay and graphics that recalls some of the best of the NES, it has a pretty good chance! Also, any game with such an awesome trailer deserves these hono(u)rs:
Nexus Game Studio describes Gravonaut as: …[A] gravity-defying sidescrolling 8 bit astro adventure where you play as a Gravonaut, an elite gravity-manipulating astronaut who’s ship was attacked by the evil Dr. Giganaut. Crash landed, you must traverse though the uncharted realms of the Moon, manipulating gravity to lead your Gravonaut through the dangers and terrors that lie ahead and get him back to earth safely. Gravonaut is a hard game that is a true test of skill and reflex. Can you handle the lunar challenge?
Congratulations, Nexus Game Studio, we’ll keep our fingers crossed for you!
