OrgSync Team with campus partners at the Hard Rock – NASPA 2011 Team OrgSync has had a busy conference season! After exhibiting at Association of College Unions, International (ACUI) in Chicago, the team visited with student personnel administrators at the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Annual Conference in Philadelphia. Six of the OrgSync team members attended to host our first annual OrgSync Reception, where we welcomed over 100 current and future campus partners at the Hard Rock Café. Leanna, David, Cayce and Andrew at ACPA 2011 A major theme of the conference was the NASPA/ACPA consolidation discussion and vote, which started March 15. Shortly after returning from NASPA, we packed our bags again and traveled to Baltimore for the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) annual convention. The visit kicked off with a very motivating and inspirational speech from Corey Booker, mayor of Newark, NJ, and concluded with the always entertaining annual Cabaret, hosted by the LGBTA Standing Committee. During our time in Baltimore, we also hosted our first OrgSync User Meeting, where 16 of our campus partners from across the country gathered to share best practices and learn from each other. We were fortunate to see many familiar faces and also meet some folks who will soon become a part of the OrgSync family! The next stop for OrgSync will be New Orleans (April 13-16) for the annual National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) conference. It will be OrgSync’s first appearance and we’re very excited to have our very own Stephanie Thompson presenting. Stephanie’s background lies in Campus Recreation at Texas State University and The University of Texas. Conferences always give us the opportunity to meet face-to-face with administrators and learn from our current campus partners, as well as network with future campus partners. Please check out the pictures in the OrgSync Admin Club! Now that conference season is winding down, on-site training season is heating up again as organization officers transition. Look forward to more posts from our Campus Consultants on the road!
